Sort-of Update
Jun. 2nd, 2005 04:47 pmSince I'm sure no one cares about my self-pity these days, I'll make sure not to mention any of it now... any more than in that sentence.
Feeling very stabby & bitey last night-- While at the graduation last Thursday, I had to call and cancel my lesson for that night and reschedule to last night. Having it earlier than usual in the day would help, too, except that the traffic reports on three different stations just conveniently left out the 3-mile-long backup coming into town on the B-W Parkway. It took me a full hour and a half to get home (twice as long as usual) and when my teacher called, I had to tell her there'd be no way I could make it. The upshot is that I had more time to have dinner, change clothes, and head out to the rehearsal at Villa Julie. The music is almost insultingly easy, but they seem to like having me there.
Tonight and tomorrow are rehearsals in Columbia for the last concert of the season, on Saturday. I hope it goes OK, because it'll be our first time with the concerto soloist. Mom is coming in again this weekend, and Dad is even coming to the concert.
Oh, and for Phil: Becki made strawberry pie last weekend, and guess what I got to take home with me? ;)
